ANNOUNCEMENT AND INVITATION

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHAPTER OF SISTER CITIES

is accepting applications for Board membership. To become eligible for membership to the SoCal Board of Directors an applicant must:

a. Be a Member in good standing of a Sister City organization.
b. Submit a letter including experience with Sister Cities activities and
reason(s) for wanting to be a SoCal Board Member.
c. Have a letter of recommendation issued by the Chair or President of the
applicantʼs Sister City organization confirming the Applicantʼs good standing in that organization.

The Nominating Committee will present a slate to the SoCal BoD members for a vote at the SoCal BoD meeting of May 19th, 2012. Please note that all Board members are required to attend four annual BoD meetings.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: THE SOCAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED!

THE NEW LOCATION IS: 2600 MICHELSON DR., SUITE 800, IRVINE, CA 92612
THE NEW STARTING TIME IS: 10:00 AM
THE DATE IS: MAY 19TH, 2012
At this meeting, candidates for SoCal Board of Directors membership will be considered and a new slate of officers will be elected.
This is an open meeting, all SoCal/SCI affiliates are invited and encouraged to attend.
